FAQ

Q: What engines or aircraft is this tool designed for?

A: This tool was originally designed for Ranger engines, but it is ideal for servicing spark plugs in any aircraft engine where space around the cylinder is limited. It is particularly useful for tightly cowled installations. If you are unsure about the fit for your specific engine, feel free to send us an email and ask! :)

Q: Can I use a different handle with this crowfoot socket, or use this handle with other sockets?

A: The socket can be removed from its handle in principle, but please note this is not a standard socket with a 3/8" or 1/2" drive. It is designed to pivot around a shaft, making it a specialized tool rather than an interchangeable system. If you have a specific use case in mind, feel free to send us an email and we can discuss your needs! :)

Q: What material is this tool made from?

A: The crowfoot socket is manufactured from 316 stainless steel using SLM 3D printing, providing excellent strength and corrosion resistance. The handle is made from chrome-plated steel..

Q: Is this a complete set?

A: Yes, this listing is for the complete, ready-to-use tool as shown in the photos.
